I am new to SAP. My Company is running SAP R3 4.7 Extension set 2. Please find our support pack level and advice if we need to update.

Hi Sujit,

Upgrading depends on the requirements of the company. If you come across several scenarios, where you are using SAP Notes of the next support pack, then you need to go for upgradation.

If SAP is not going to support your system for the current support pack, then you need to go for upgradation.

There are companies working on 4.6B or 4.6C. Upgrading depends completely on requirement & budget.
