Hi Experts,

i assigned standard text to my customized request number.

i want to check that my standard text is assigned or not.

i checked in se09 my standard text is not assigned.

does it mean my standard text is not assigned?

please help

Yes I suppose so: you should see that object in the request: how did you assign it to the request?

hi,

Have your assigned your standard text to transport request by using program RSTXTRAN? If standard text is not displyed in SE09, it is not attached to request.

Check whether, there is an entry with the following in yoru request in SE09.

PgmID Obj Obj. name

R3TR TEXT <your standard text>

I executed RSTXTRAN this program and given the inputs as below

name of the correction= request number

text key- object = text

text key - name = standard text name

text key - id = st

text key language = en

after that i executed and preseed enter.

message came that standard text is assigned to request number but i didnot see in se09.

Hi vijay,

The steps are a little tricky.

1. After entering the details of standard text

2. after executing

3. It will display a list

WITH CHECKBOXES

and speicfying the standard texts

(as per selection critera)

4. Then, Select ALL

5. Press OK (Top right)

<b>6. Then Press the Button 'Trsfr texts to corr'

on the application toobar.

(At this point of time only,

the texts will be transferred to request)</b>

i am following same procedure as you said in the above following error message is coming.

Diagnosis

Repository and customizing objects can only be maintained within the framework of a task: (correction in the original system and repair in all other systems). Request DV1K9A41LG is not a task.

Select a task in the Transport Organizer (SE09) and repeat the function.

Hi,

In order to transport texts we need to execute the program RSTXTRAN.

Here we need to pass the below details:

Name of correction - <Request Number>

Text Key Object - Object name

Text Key name - <The text name>

Text Key ID - <ST>

Text Key Language - <EN>

Pass all these parameters and execute the program. Once the program is executed the texts will be attached to the request number you have specified. Now you transport them to which ever server you want to..

Hi,

In order to assign a standard text to your request. You should be the <b>owner</b> of the request. Though you have a task on your name under that request, it doesnt allow you to assign. You will be getting the error which you got now.

Dear Vijay,

The reason why your getting the error message was because the task was of type unclassified.

What must be done is the task must be changed from Unclassfied to

development/correction task.

Then go to the program RSTXTRAN

Enter the correction name as the task- request number

text name as the standard text name

Execute it and then hit enter and further click on the button Transfer text to corr

and click on the Yes button.

The request will be assigned to your transport request.
