Dear Experts,

Greetings.

I have a standard table in which i appended a structure. i could adjust the table and activate it. However today i wanted to change the data element of one of the fields of the appended structure. I changed it and tried adjusting the table to activate it. But it threw an error....hence I deleted the append structure and tried activating the table again...it was "Partly active" . in SE14 I tried adjusting it again...though in the table it shows active now when I click on activate button ...it says " table ***** was not activated".

in se14 it says

The SQL statement was not executed

Statements for Table JHTVKO could not be executed.

Why is this so. Please clarify

Regards

Sathya

what was the error thrown by it when u used APPEND structure?

this can happen when the structure or some dataelement in the table is also not activated.

OR if the function group MAIN program of the table maintenance generator is not activated.

Can you debug and put a BREAKPOINT at the message statements, so that u can reach to that SQL code which is throwing error?
