I jus came to knw tht thr r 3 standard LDB lik PNP , PCH , PAP..

Is thr any other standard LDB available for HR..

coul u plz tel me th exact diff bet each LDBs..

Hi Sakthi

The three mentioned by you are the basic and the standards one's available for HR. In addition to that you have one more PNPCE, which is almost similar to PNP but just it can handle concurrent employee.

So, to brief up there are mainly 4 LDB's in HR,

1) PNP

2) PNPCE

3) PAP

4) PCH

1) PNP - for Personal Administration

2) PNPCE - for Personal Administration. PNPCE is successor of PNP

3) PAP - for E-recruitments

4) PCH - For Event management, OM, TIme Mgmt ..

we use pnp when we need personal data.

the GET event will fetch the data into all infotypes which we r using and we can use it for further processing.

we write GET PERNR which is the root node structure, when we use pnp ldb.

we use GET OBJEC when we use pch ldb.

when we need organization related data we use pch .
