hi check this...i think this is not possile in smartforms ..because...if you had any value which is more than 255 chars..it will not capture by the text element...

Splitting the cell is not possible in smartform.

It is not possible to split the table cell. Hope SAP will find a solution or an alternative on this in their future releases....
