Hi All,

we are starting the service pack load on one of our system and we may need to resolve versioning issues with SPAU to keep the process going, I am new to this thing and never done this, so can you please tell what do I need to do and how do I need to do this.

When the system is upgraded if you want to make any necessary changes the use transaction code - SPDD.

SPAU the system identifies the necessary adjustments.

Both Transactions Required and highly useful after the system is been upgraded.

Just press the "I" button at the top of the screen when you execute the transaction.

(This is pretty basic.)

Performing SPAU correctly often requires an experienced developer, who should also know about the specifics of the modifications that were done to the installation being upgraded. It depends somewhat on the scope of the modifications, of course. This cannot be taught via SDN forums.

I wonder how you got into this situation...why were you assigned to this task having no clue about how to do it?
