Just wanted to know whether 2 smartforms be attached to the same output type in NACE?

You can assign until 5 sapscript but only one smartform for the same output type in the same application.

Again wanted to knopw the difference between layout module and snartform in NACE.

Hi

Layout module means SAPSCRIPT.

I suppose you know there are two tools to create a print of document:

- SAPSCRIPT: older tool (trx SE71)

- SMARTFORM: new tool available from release 4.6C (trx SMARTFORM)

Hi praneeth,

we can attach 2 different scripts for each output format medium

but not two different smartforms as in SAP R/3 4.6c.

Yes we can attach 2 different for 2 different output format mediums(processing routine)

but for each processing routine you can still attach diferent smartforms i.e for Print output, Fax output you can have 2 different smartforms.
