Smartforms - error: Incorrect code page.

Hi,

I have created a smart form in English and want to translate it to other languages.

I have performed the following steps:

1. Transaction: SE63

2. Translation -> ABAP Objects -> Other Long Text -> SSF SAP SMART FORMS

I have chosen the smart form i created, i.e: ZI_JOBTICKET.

the Translation Area is 999999 (SAP default)

the source language is English(enUS) and the target language is French(frFR).

I get the following error: <b>INCORRECT CODE PAGE</b>

Note also that in my smart form I have chosen <b>Translate to all language</b> radio button.

Does anyone have any idea why i get this error?

If your default logon language is EN, then logout and login using FR, and try to translate.

But I have already tried same, it give me the same error:

).

Do you think in my sap instalation, there is somthing missing? some kind of translator stuff?

Are there other prerequisites or setting up steps that i missed, before translating smart forms?

IF YOU ARE STILL FACING THE ERROR TO CONVERT YOUR SMARTFORMS TO ENGLISH THEN CONTACT YOUR BASIS PROFESSIONAL , I HOPE HE CAN HELP YOU TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM.

installation for language was not well performed by BASIS team
