Smartforms-Condition node

Hi Folks,

Can we comment the condition node in the smartform?

Here we are dealing with a smartform which is displaying the address based on the conditions like if werks = abc( it is done in the general attributes tab of the condition node followed by true or false nodes with the respective text containing the addresses) it is displaying one address else some other address.Now there is no need to validate w.r.t the plant as there is only one plant.

My question is

1.Can we comment this condition node and create a new text wth an address?

2.In the general attributes tab of the CONDITIONS node we will be able to see some realtional operators.What is the significance of PATTERN and EXCLUDE PATTERN.

Hi Kiran,

YES, You can comment the condition if you have a single plant.

Generally for address printing in scrpts/smartforms some pattern is followed

that is nothing but printing the sequence of address fields .

If you want you can use it or write your own address fields as per your wish without considering that Pattern. it doesn't matter unless somebody pointed you that you have to print the address in so and so particular pattern.

1.You said we can comment the condition node,How to comment it?

2.Do you mean to say PATTERN is just a way to determine the order in which we write the address.I mean Name,street,city,state and Country?

3.I can go ahead and delete the condition node and add a new text node with the address,but a bit hesitant if in case if they have a new plant in the future this particular condtion node will be helpful.Hence I am seeking is there any way we can comment this condition node and add a new text node.

I am not talking about the commenting of the code in the smartform but the node in which we have placed some conditions,thus making them null and void.
