smartform number formatting

Hi,

In the smart form output,

previously the value maintained was 5348.16.

it should be converted to -5348.16 instead of -534.816.

-534.816 is due to the logic maintained in smart form was 'fieldname(<C.0)'.

Why it is printed as such? what is the logic of above formatting ?

How can I overcome this ?

Then search/read online help or forum, e.g. Output Options for Field Contents (so you will understand that So '<' is sign left, 'C' is condense and '.0' is no decimal) and then consider reading Fields that Refer to Currencies or Quantities too.

@Karthick R : Raymond told you that .0 means no decimal. If you search a little bit, you can imagine that .2 means 2 decimals... Examples here: https://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/d1/803479454211d189710000e8322d00/content.htm

Is this a currency value ? Have you maintained the currency format in the form ?

This comes from the country-specific settings. HAve a look in table T005 and also at

SU3 / SU01 & Global Settings OY01

The samrtforms gives you this result because of a setting here.

Yes, it is a currency value. It is maintained correctly.
