I added fields to an existing Z table which has entries in it. When I go to SM30 to maintain values I don't see new fields created.

Please suggest.

Thanks,

AP

You need to delete and regenerate the table maintenance dialog again. You can do this from se54 or directly from SE11.

Joy.

Do I need to completely delete the object and recreate? Is it possible to just regenerate with out deleting?

Thanks,

Just hit that pencil button and check the appropriate boxes in the popup, the system will do the rest automatically.

Thomas,

I am able to regenerate the table maintenance. But I can view only few fields while generating (I have to scroll). Earlier I was able view more fields. How to make that change.

Thanks,

AP

If I understand you correctly, then you will have to modify the generated screen manually by double clicking on the dynpro number and extending the width of the table control.

Keep in mind that manual changes to the generated screen will be lost once you regenerate it.

Maybe you have added too many new fields, so also look into making that a two-step maintenance dialog with overview and detail screens.

Hello AP,

You need to re-generate the table maintenance generator .

SE11->Utilities->Table Maintenance Generator

OR

SE54 and enter the table name and click change.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
