Hi !
I wanted to ask how to create fields disable for input ( output only ) in table entry created by sm30.
I am populating Those fields atomically by event #1(sm30 event - raised when user press "save" button ) and i don't want to enable users to population those fields not atomically.
please send me a code example.
thanks

Mosha,
My 2 cents to Max's and Sanjay's responses.
If you are not adding or deleting any fields to that table then you need to do what lisa said.
Just go to the layout of that screen and check the box 'output only' inorder to disable the field for input.
If your are changing the fields, then it will automatically prompt you whether you want to regenerate the maintenance dialog.
thanks,

Dear Moshe,
You could simply modify the screen of the maintenance dialog and set the field to 'output only'. I am aware, this modification will be lost as soon as you generate the maintenance dialog newly, but I think it's the easiest way.
Hope this helps, kind regards, Kathrin!

Hi Moshe
you shouldn't directly create a table maitenance dialog of your table,
but you should create a maintenace view for your table and than generate a table maitenance dialog for this view.
Infact in this kind of view you can set the flag to define if and how to show the fields in dialog for SM30.

Hi
Max is right . Check this
http://help.sap.com//saphelp_470/helpdata/EN/66/33f52010dd11d6999300508b5d5211/content.htm
In SE11 you can create a maintenance view and use only one table . The fields you want to be output only, just put an "R" in those fields in the column "P" ( maintenance attributes ) . Later generate maint dialog for this view and have the code in EVENT "SAVE" to populate these display only fields .
Cheers
