Hi- Can anyone guide me how to attach documents (Word, JPG, PDF) at item level in sales order? I would like to control this at item level? Currently services for objects lists you all the attachments irrespective of item. If I have 10 attachments for 5 items then it shows all in the attachment list. I would like to control this at item level. I mean if i select line item 1 then it should show only attachments refers to this item only in the attachment list.. Is there anyway to get this done?

Not without some customization and/or modification. The business object exists at the header level as does the GOS functionality for that reason. You would have to configure a custom object and maybe go a different route by using the Additional Data B item level tab and a button there. You could attach with the custom object and custom key, but then you'd have somewhat of a disconnect between header and item level.
