selection screen

hi,

I am trying to validate two parameters and and a select option.for validation i am using a select query.If sy-subrc is not 0 then error message is displayed.After displaying error message program is throwing me out (not a short dumb).I want to stay on selection scree. Please guide me.

Hi,

U have to validate the selection screen fields in AT SELECTION SCREEN event.

Use select query and error message if sy-subrc ne 0 in AT SELECTION SCREEN event. By doing this ur program stops at selection screen it self.

Instead of displaying an error message, display a warning/info message and then use the command STOP to prevent the program from continuing.
