SELECTION SCREEN TEXT problem

Hello,

I have a selection screen where the text of the select options are coming when i am login to system in english laguage.

But the problem is, when i am login to the system in Polish language the select option texts are not coming. Its coming blank. Although the text are maintained in polish log on too.

Please help.

Hi,

Check once again like this-

go to control panel change regional and language options (i.e. regoinal option, location and advance option) to polish, save and restart the system then logon to SAP language polish go to se38 select text elements and first copy the polish text into text file encoding unicode and copy from that into SAP save and activate you can able to see the text in polish.

Whether u have maintained Translation for Selection texts from EN(English) to PL(Polish)?

Goto -> Translation ->

Original language EN

Target language PL.

Enter corresponding Polish texts for English texts. Save

Are you copy the text like this Goto - Translation - Original language- enter target language PL. Enter corresponding Polish texts for English texts. Save and activate.

If not you need to follow the procedure.

make sure if you have transported it from other system.. let that transport contain the translations as well..

I have resolved the issue.

I log in in Polish in SAP logon and go to text elements maintained for the selection screen. and then got a popup and Click on the maintain in Log on language button.
