Hi all can any body please explain the importance of search help option provide in the standard data element for eg: element MATNR has search help MAT1 which is collective search help.

Again please tall me how to use a collective search help in aprogram.

Thanks for your advice, but i have a advice too. Learn to read the posted questions properly just check the reply link you provided. I am not here with out learning how to search SDN.

Hi Ram,

Search Help:

Search Help of a field, gives all the possible input values for that field.

Colective search help:

A collective search help is the combination of several search helps. Here we can choose any one of the paths for search help. When you define a collective search help, you only have to specify the search helps that are to be combined in the collective search help.
