i need a search help facility on a custom business partner field i have created for our Records management field. the problem is we dont have master data sitting on this Records management system and its sitting on its own server and its not on R3. On F4 i want the search help to reference seach help for business partners in R3. Is it possible and how can i do it. its urgent

Hi,
Why don't you write RFC function module in SAP on business partner table, and make a call thru your Records management system (Non sap) and get values for search help.
