Hi ,

There are several situations when I had to create a transaction of which the latest is :

I had to create a transaction for a DD table so that it can be maintained by any user.I was helped by someone ..and I could do it.

But the problem for me is I can't do it myself .

I did not understand the basic concept in the last part like :

Default values

Name of the screen field</b>

Can anyone please explain it to me?

Hi Ramana,

Generally speaking, Tables can be maintained through the SAP t-code SM30. There you are giving the table name and the type of action you want to perform like display, create or change entries.

So, when you want to create a t-code for the table, it requires the t-code SM30 as the transaction (thorugh which you maintain the entries) and the values like the table/view name and the type of action (update to create/edit entries or show to display only) you want to perform in the default values section.

Hi,

Goto SE93 -> Transaction with parameters(parameter transaction)

At transaction radio button give SM30.

Check Inherit GUI attributes

For name of screen field

VIEWNAME (tablename)
