Screen variants

Hi...

Please give me the steps for creation of screen variant.

i have created a screen variant and transaction variant using shd0. but when i transferred this to production server only transaction variant is transferrd screen variant is not transferred what may be the problem, how to solve this.

Hi,

Please check step to create transport of screen variant

1) SE38-->enter the program name -->Click the radio button next to the "Variants" subobject and click the "Change" button -->On "ABAP: Variants" screen, select menu path "Utilities -> Transport request" ~~> Enter the variant(s) you want to copy into the "Variant name" box.~~>Click the execute button and save the data to a new change request.

To copy to new client:

1) Log on to target client and goto transaction SCC1.

2) Enter the source client and change request number from above.

3) Click the execute button.
