Save a file in t-code AL11

Anyone who can tell me which function module I should use to save an ABAP report down to t-code AL11.

Hi,

You can use the Tcode CG3Y.

Or programatically

OPEN DATASET filename FOR OUTPUT IN TEXT MODE
                ENCODING DEFAULT MESSAGE msg.  
IF SY-SUBRC EQ 0.
LOOP AT ITAB.
TRANSFER itab TO filename.
ENDDLOOP.
  CLOSE DATASET filename.
ENDIF.

Thank's. That was good to know. Never heard about Tcode CG3Y before.

But I think you misunderstood me.

I would like to setup a job in SM37 that will run a report every evening, and the result I would like to save in Tcode AL11 in a catalog.
