Hi,

I have a sapscript form and want to change the basic forms language.

How to do that without creating the form new from scratch?

(Please no answers concerning translastion - I want the form to be restricted to one language which is not the current source language).

TIA,

Clemens

Are you saying that you want to change the original language of the original standard SAP form in client 000?

If you wish to change the original lanuage of the form..

First, enter the form name, click change, click utilites, then click convert original language.

sorry, Rich, the entry 'convert original language' is inactive (grey). Is this possibly an authorization task?

It is a Z object.

TIA,

Clemens

The reason that it might be greyed out is that you might be in the wrong lanuage. You can only change in the original lanuage. So go to SE71, enter the lanuage key of the current original language(probably DE) and click change, now try to convert.

I ran that phrase through the translator on altavista. It came back "%$*^".

In SE71, enter the form name AND the LANGUAGE of the original language, then CHANGE mode. Then convert original language.

Thank you all!

I solved it:

Take existing form, change it in desired new source language. If it did not exist in that language, make a change to some object to get it saved in the language. If you don't change any text, it will refuse to save.

Then change the form in original language. There only the change original language can be changed.

regards,

C.
