I have created an RFC in development server and we are using that to connect with a PLC system using SAP >Net Connector. The server configuration has been established in sm59 and the RFC is working fine in development.
Please help me out of this situation.

Hi Solasu
I have already checked the conection parameters in sm59 which it has passed successfully, its working fine in development . In QAS also we have established connection in sm59 which has been tested positively. when I run the RFC function module in QAS I get 'FUNCTION NOT IMPLEMENTED' error.
Where can the problem be?
Thanks

Hi,
Are you using any custom function to get or send the data.

Yes
We have created a custom function for sending and receiving data.

Hi Peter, I had the same error message when calling a RFC server function in the SAP.NET connector. The RFC server function was called from SAP using transactional tRFC. After I implemented tRFC in .NET no more errors. Not sure you have same issue here as you did test successfully in development.

Let me change the RFC to tRFC and transport it to Quality and test.
Thanks

Hi Peter, not sure where you did change to tRFC. What did you change to tRFC ?
If you call the RFC in .NET from SAP with tRFC (CALL FUNCTION func IN BACKGROUND TASK) then also a tRFC handler in the .NET connector needs to be implemented. If not the .NET connector will give error message 'FUNCTION NOT IMPLEMENTED'.
The tRFC handler is set in the RfcServerManger by setting the TransactionIDHandler class
