What is the database management system of sap?
I mean sap db based on what?
Oracle or sql server...

SAP DB is designed to run with all SAP applications, but SAP’s technical briefs say it can run with any other application supporting open database standards.

Hello Deniz,
SAP Database Management is using ORACLE.
U can see it while installing SAP, U need to install ORACLE as well as JAVA also.

Hi,
depending on the application of choice, there's also a DB of choice to go with it. Not all DBMS are released for all SAP appplications.
The typical DBMS for most standard applications are SAP DB / MaxDB, Oracle, IBM DB2 and MS SQL.
