When it's a standard program, go to the SAP support. I find one patch for this exact same symptom.

NB: please copy/paste the short dump instead of typing manually, to avoid human errors.

Ah - it wasn't copy pasted. I thought with a SYNTEX_ERROR he must have a knock-off version of SAP...What would that be called in the software hacker's terminology? ZAP?
