Routing BDC - Activity Type not populating automatically

Hi all,

       I have strange  issue ,i did BDC recording for Routing Upload. i did executed foreground and see all the fields populated except 'Activity Type ' .

       When i create routing manually in CA01 , in operation details screen , after giving 1st operation and when i hit enter , it picks Activity type automatically  from  SAP tables.

      This is happening fine even in Recording trasaction ,but when i exectute BDC in foreground ,after giving operation detailis ,hitting enter key  activity type alone is not populated .That field is disabled .Mean i can not even place the cursor inside that  field even though its a display only field.

Hi Srinivas,

Pass that activity type field in your code during BDC and then execute. Try it this way and check if that works. Lets not depend on the transaction to default that value.

Hi Sindhu,

               Its an Input disabled field .So in BDC we cant use that field for populating values.

Solved  it myself , Problem is From Date in Selection screen should be correct one. I gave 01.01.2000 so it didnt pick activity type values .
