Restrict view A025 by company code

Dear Gurus,

I have a requirement to restrict Table View A025 by company code. Since it is a Table view is it possible to restrict view by company code ?

How do I create a single role for A025 and restrict by company code ?

Hi,

you are looking for object S_TABU_LIN. Just check documentation in SU21. I checked table A025 but it does not have any field for company code. So if you don't have that field in table then you won't be able to use S_TABU_LIN.

AO25 is the Tcode and the actual view assigned to this Tcode is View : V_T093C_10 which has BUKRS ~ Company Code and text.

Now could you please provide me a tip on how to proceed with restriction?

Go to SU21, search for object S_TABU_LIN and display documentation for this object. It contains good description how it works.

Hi,

Have a customized tcode with the required restrictions. As recommended in the earlier post, to limit the authorization to specific number of rows in a table, ie.., based on company code or plant, the S_TABU_LIN object has to be used.
