selection texts will go with it .To ensure the same, Just before moving u can do one thing , in the program menu,,

go to>Text Elements-> Selection Texts . Activate it once. The Task will be created under the main TR of the program only

A system proposes a transport request when you create the selection text. So you need to transport that also (if it is not a sub task in the transport request created for the report)

Hi Debopriya Ghosh ,

When the program is transported the text elements also go with it if you save the text elements under that request number.

Dg,

answer is if your selection text is also have the same request as report than it should be transport with report.but if the you save selection text in diffrent request number than you may transport it explicitly like report.

remember selection text also should be activate.

Amit.

Hi,

If the selection-texts are saved under the same request where the program is save then both will go automatically when the request is transported to production.

Hope this will help.

Swarna Munukoti.

hi,

whenever a report is created it includes source code as well as selection text in the transport request.

so it will also be transported.

for standard text(se61) u need to create a seperate transport request and include the report in the same if u r using that text in the report.

Hi,

when you create selection-text ,it will ask request # ,you need to save under same request,so that it will go other wise it will not go.

check the transport request in se10 transaction - drag the sub request and it will have list object - see there if you have selection text ,if not create again and save it under request.

Also check this thread.

Hi Ghosh,

whatever the things that are saved under that requests will be moved to QA.

If u want to Cross check which are going to Transport.

Go to SE01

Click on Transports.

Select Check Box Modifiable.

Dispaly.

Then click on the tree which is present before your request number.

then it will will show another Sub Request.

Then once again Click on tree which is present before your Sub request number.

then it will show all the Objects that are present in that request number.

Such as Report name , Include programs and Report Texts.

Regards.

Eshwar.
