Replace item from different category in BOM

Hello,

I need to replace item with category L to item with category N in a BOM (cs02), this change can not be executed with mass change (cs20), so the only way that I know is by abap using bapi's or staff like that.

Is anyone know how can I resolve this issue ? which Bapi's should I use ? is there any other solution for that (even LSMW with IDOC's ...)
