Renaming a Module pool program

Hi Friends,

How to change the name of the Module pool program coz I created a module pool program with the name SAPMZ_XYZ and the includes are created starting with MZ_XYZ and my basis consultant is not accepting the includes starting with MZ.

When I tried to change the name of the module pool program it is asking me the access key.

Copy the whole prgram into another program name starting with Z only..

Make sure it starts with Z and not anything else.

Hi Line,

Go to SE80 and give tour program name. Simply write click it. One pop up menu will be Display. Select the option "Rename" from the menu.

it should not be the way.

But the include starts like that only...

Even if u want to rename the program , u can do that..

Right Click on the module pool program name and then u find rename ...

even u can rename ur includes also..

Hai,

Goto SE38 & give ur program name and press ctrl+ F6.It will rename ur existing program Name.

Hi,

Goto se80 , right click on prgram looking for options.

Choose Rename --- > In the pop up box --- > give the renamed program name in target program.

Check for the renamed program.

- Does your basis consultant say someting on function group, main program starting with SAPLZ and not Z (strictly inadmissible )

- Also give him the reference Note 16466 - Customer name range for SAP objects
