How can I find out in which release a function module was defined?

Thank you,

Try version management.

Hi Kathy,

Start transaction SE37

Fill in the name of the Function Module

Choose from the menu: Utillities --> Versions --> Version Management

Under the column "Rel." you will find in which release the FM was made.

Keep in mind, that most old FM's in SAP releases simply are converted to the new release and therefore carry also that specific release version.

If that is the case you could check the date in version management. It will give you an estimate on when a FM first was build.

Regards,

Rob.
