Hi,
I need to understand the link between the Personnel number(PERNR) from TA0105 and the field BNAME in USR02.
Thanks.

Hi Niranchan
The link between PA0105 and USR02 will be USR02-bname = PA0105-USRID where USRTY = '0001'.

What is the significance of user type? Also, both these fields are of varying length. Pls help me to understand.

Hi Niranchan
PA0105 is used to maintain the different communication details of user. So in this case, User type will identify what type of communication this employee has. So User type '0001' means User name attached to the employee number.

Hi,
PERNR is the personnal number of an employee in SAP HR
BNAME is the user login in SAP
Infotype 0105 (PA0105) give you for an employee it's sap login. But there can be employee that haven't any login on SAP
Hope this helps

Hi Niranchan,
PERNER is used to identify a person (in the HR module Particularly). Basicaly it is used to identify an employee of the org. Where as, BNAME in USR02 is to identify the R3 users.
Say you are an employee of a company named INF using SAP HR module for payroll, there will be a PERNER maintained for you in their system. But you will not necessarily have a BNAME in USR02, since you are not a registered user of the R3 system used for payroll processing.
