in dev system goto text elements , make some changes, and ACTIVATE.it will ask for workbench request.

save it in a request and transport again.

Hi,

Go to dev. env. and make minor changes to the program - to generate a transport, then change back what you did on the same transport, and then change the selection text back and forth activating  every time so they will be added to the transport and move it to production env.

Best,

Iftah

Hi,

I know it doesn't create a transport, thats why I said to first change the code source (like inserting a blank line - pressing enter at the end of the program) thus creating a trasport and then change the selection text.

Waiting for your response,

Iftah.

Dear linganathan,

Please check with the request which you created in Dev.

If you created multiple requests please move the all requests as a sequence to Production.

Else this problem will happen.

Otherwise just copy the program in different name with different request, move it to production.

With Regards,

Hello Linganathan,

>> If you've created a new program which has some text elements in it, then with the transport request in which you save your program, the text elements too will be saved & when you transport that request to production, the text elements too shall be transported with it (This is applicable only for the first time creation of a program).

>> You may try using the program RSTXTRAN for transporting text symbols otherwise.

>> Also, if you are adding text elements in a program which already exists in production (i.e. making changes to a program), then you need to save your changes in a transport request & then transport it to production system which should take your text elements to prod system.

>> In case, while making changes it does not asks for a request, then I would suggest you to move the current request of the program up to test system >> then make changes to the program in Dev system to create/change text elements, this should now ask you for a new transport request/task, in which you can save your changes >> then finally transport this request to production system.

Hope any of the above options shall resolve your issue.
