regarding scheduling sm36

Could u let me know how to schedule a abap perogram in background in SM37.

Hi.

U can schedule ur ABAP program through the T-CODE sm36.

All u have to do is go to sm36 give some job name and then schedule it when ever u want u can schedule it immediatily or any time. the moment u save ur job name system will ask for ABAP Program name to schedule.

Hi,

U can schedule in SM37 in the following way.

1.Use tcode SM37.

2.Give JOB NAME and USER NAME of the sap login id.

3.In Job Status select Scheduled check box alone. Other check boxes don't select.

4.Give ur Abap program name in Job step.

5.Click Execute icon.

That's it.

After ur job has finished, use same tcode check finished check box instead of Scheduled in Job status give the same details and check ur output.

From the tcode SE38 abap editor screen, before u execute it. Give the values for the parameters and select-options in selection screen.
