regarding PBO

can any one tell me, can we call 2 pbo's in one screen and what is the exact difference between initialization and PBO.

Hi pavan,

When we call a subscreen we generally call two PBO's one of the main screen or the calling screen and other of the subscreen.

Hi Pavan,

PBO is a event in the Screen flow. You can't define two PBO block in screen logic of a screen.

Screen flow events:

PBO.

PAI.

POV.

POH.

Report Events:

Load-of-program.

Initialization.

At Selection-screen

At Selection-screen on <field>

Start-of-selection.

top-of-page.

end-of-page.

End-of-selection.

List processing (reports) will be executed in ABAP processor.

Screen flow logic will be executed in Screen processor.

PBO is first event executed in the screen. It's related to screen flow logic

Initialization is the first event to initialize the data in List processing. It's related to list processing.

hi Pavan,

mainly PBO is screen level event. while designing the screens the flow of logic can be designed with the use of these events.

this event triggers before you can display some output or before some screen display. where as

Intialisation is the event while you r writing a report.

This event triggers before the selection screen displayed.

This event is mainly used to intialise some values for some fields at the starting

HI PAVAN

PBO is the name of event for module pool programming.

here you can use several modules which will fire one by one before displaying the screen.

you have to declare the modules in screen-flow logic and code that in your ABAP program.

like

SCREEN FLOW LOGIC

-

---

PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT.

MODULE M1.

MODULE M2.

.....

But INITIALIZATION is the event of report .

It gets fire before showing the selection screen.

Hi,

PBO is process before output.There is one PBO for a screen.

Initialization is triggered before sel. screen is displayed.It is used fill the default values in the screen.It will be triggered once in a program.

PBO is triggered every time before the screen is displayed.We can use it for screen modifications.
