Regarding Enhancement for XD01 Tcode

Hi Gurus,

I want to implement the exit for XD01 Tcode. The scenario is when user enters the address in the address tab and press the enter button then i have to implement the either exit or BAdi.

I searched for suitable enhancement but i dint find and i debug exit handler class by putting the break point in BAdi also. Please give me suggestion

You have not mentioned the exact requirement of the badi usage.

Blindly I am suggesting you to look at CUSTOMER_ADD_DATA. It has almost all methods that will be sufficient. Please read the documentation of the methods.

the link describes how to create a Custom Screen in an extra tab. This is not what the question is about.

Yes, the BDT framework allows multiple PAI functions, but I could not find any useful instructions on how to configure it. Usually only additional fields or screens are discussed, not additional checks.

I know it's not exactly what you are asking for, but I've used BAdI CUSTOMER_ADD_DATA~CHECK_ALL_DATA to check data before saving the customer.

Thank you for reply. But I need when user enters the data and press the enter button, not at the time of save.

But any way i have implemented using Implicit Enhancement... I have to check whether it will work correctly or not...

No need to go that BADI CUSTOMER_ADD_DATA. I created one implicit enhancement.

Implicit enhancement is always a second option if a valid badi already exists.

But for my requirement there is no BAdi. I tried using the above BAdi.. but no use thats why i have chosen implicit enhancement..
