in my script out put records are coming like this
120.00 2,532 303,840.00 SB IMS4.1 EMA C A SolM 13.10.2008
120.00 2,532 303,840.00 SB IMS4.1 EMA C A SolM 14.10.2008
only dates are different remaining data is same for 2 records
so can we consider the 2nd record as duplicate record
or different records since dates are different

hi,
it depends on the requirement.
for one case you may need data for each new date then this is not a duplicate records.
if this is not the case then its a duplicate record as data may be required on different condition.

It is based on your requirement.
if one doesnot want to consider the date field, then it is a duplicate record.
if one wants to consider the date field, it is not a duplicate record.
check with your requirements from user and accordingly change your logic.

Hey Pavan,
Depends upon your requirement. If you want to show the current record then you should not print the record which have a previous date listed. You can sort the table with key fields and use delete adjacent duplicates, to delete the duplicate entries .
Thanks,
Jayant
