hi experts.
my doubt is very small. actually we call ale, means application link enabling.
why not database link enabling.
can somebody clear my doubt , that what is application here.

Hi subhasis,
Since ALE deals with Application Repository and the application data of the idoc.
It is called as Application Link Enabling.
