Hi,
While creating TEXT table is it that the language field (SPRAS) is mandatory?
and
if mandatory then field name in the TEXT table will always be SPRAS, whether we can create the TEXT table with language field as YSPARS?
Thanks

Hi,
You can define any fieldname of yours, but try using the predefined or existing SAP data types as reference.
If it is not found, then you can create your own data element and domain.

Hi,
Since this is a custom table created by you, so will be the logic around this table to read or update this table. So you can name and use the fields as you like.
But as a general practice, it is good to have the language field in text tables. And also it will better to stick to the SAP naming conventions for the standard fields like BUKRS, MANDT, SPRAS, etc.
Hope this helps.
Sumant.
