Reg : Selection Option restriction

Hi Team,

I have small requirement ,

I need to remove the selection option extension color programmatic.

I am clearing the selection option value pragmatically.So even though the select option is blank its color remains green.I want to remove this color as well.

Please suggest me the ways to achieve this.

Hi Karthik,

the select-option should be refreshed in AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT. event then it will remove the color.

try like this.

DATA: l_v_flag TYPE flag VALUE 'X'.

SELECT-OPTIONS: so_order FOR aufk-auart.

AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT.

   IF l_v_flag IS INITIAL.

     REFRESH: so_order[].

   ENDIF.

  START-OF-SELECTION.

** Validate if so_order should be refreshed if yes clear the flag. and then in AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT the select option will be refreshed.

   clear l_v_flag.

Hi,

you can add command "NO-EXTENSION" to to get rid of the extension button.

if you want to keep the button it is SAP Standard the button gets a green field when values are entered.

Hi -

Is it in custom code ?

If you want dactiavate, multiple selection then use NO-EXTENSION.

If you have something more to do with out using NO-EXTENSION then check the function module

SELECT_OPTIONS_RESTRICT.

Please let us know more detail with your code.

It would be better if you post the code related to SELECT-OPTIONS.

And I think you are just clearing the Select-Options. If so, please change it as REFRESH <S_OPTION>.

My requirement is as soon as i am clearing programatically the selection option field , the green color in the extension 

button should be replaced/cleared as below

Hi Karthik,

Please refere my previous comment, I hope you are CLEARING not REFRESHING the select option.

Try REFRESH S_OPTION in AT SELECTION-SCREEN or AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT as per your requirement.

Previously i was doing in  AT SELECTION SCREEN.

Now i have changed to AT SELECTION SCREEN OUTPUT and it works fine.

the code i told was for the same thing, you were supposed to write code in AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT.
