Hi Experts,

Could you please let me know how to check the Patch Level of the SAP system and also I need some more Clarification regarding this

1, Whether this Patch Level is for the SAP GUI or for the SAP Application Server.

2, How is SAP is supplying this Patch , whether they will be informing to the customer to download and apply from some where or is this something like OSS notes.

Please Clarify,

Thanks in Advance.

Regards,

Sen

Once logged into SAP from any screen,you can check via the menu path

system-->Status

then click on the display icon that says components, in the next pop-up you will see the pathc levels of the various SAP components on your system

for checking GUI patch level, click on the last icon on any SAP screen menu bar ( options) & select About GUI, you can see the patch level for your SAPGUI.

Patches are now called Support Packs & are available for download via SAP Service Market Place.. your BASIS resource applies them to your system.

Hello,

You can check by logging into your system and then menu "system" -> Status.

Then you have an overview of all installed SP in your system. (SAP application server)

You can find this information in SPAM (imported SP)/SAINT (imported Add-ons) too.

The release dates are documented in service.sap.com and you can find the SP there

For Sapgui: go on your saplogon click menu "about Sap logon" and you can see the version
