Hi friends,
I checked transactions BD61, BD52 and BD50. For the field 'cc' change pointer have been enabled. So when one cost center record was deleted in sender, I wonder why it didn't get deleted in the receiver sys.
Please tel me what is the issue and how to rectify that?
Thanks & Regards
Mathi

Hi
For enabling Change pointers:
1. You have to Configure the Basic ALE settings (Partner profiles etc)
2. You have to Enable Change pointers (Tcodes BD61, BD50...)
But to Generate the IDOCs based on Change pointers
We have to Schedule / Run to Program RBDMIDOC.
This program reads the Change pointers created in Tables BDCP and BDCPS then Generates the IDOCS and Dispatches the IDOCs.
For trouble shooting:
So whenever u delete the cost center first u check the entries in Change pointer tables
BDCP and BDCPS .
If you found the Entry then Run this program RBDMIDOC.
Check the IDocs in WE05 in Sender then Receiver...
Hope this gives u the solution..

Hi Mathi,
The record will not be deleted, it will be marked for deletion. After carrying out the deletion operation, check the following:
1) Change pointers are created in CDHDR and CDPOS or not
2) Check that the IDOC u r sending has this new value of the field or not..
Thanks and Best Regards,
Vikas Bittera.

Thanks for all....
when idoc is deleted in sender, there is no reference for change pointer to update this in receiver sys. So ALE cannot take care of deletion of record in receiver when the record is deleted in sender; we have to do the deletion in the receiver manually.

Hi,
I am giving all the configuration information for change pointers. This configuration is for Customized idoc,so u r not required to do all the configurations.
1>WE81
2>WE31
3>WE30
4>WE82
5>SCDO
5>BD50
6>BD61
7>BD52
8>BD60
9>WE20
10>BD64
In your case i think you have missed SCDO - creation of change document objects.
Many business objects are changed frequently. It is often useful and even necessary to be able to trace the changes made. This logging is carried out with change documents. These can be created for changes already made as well as for planned changes.
To be able to log changes to a business object in a change document, an appropriate change document object must be defined in the system. In its definition, a change document object has tables, which represent a business object in the system. Changes to table fields designated as change document-relevant are logged by writing a change document.
Changes made to the material master data in the field MARA-WRKST ( basic material) are logged as standard on the part of the application in a change document for the change document object MATERIAL .
So create the change document object for the required field and check in the BDCP and BDCPS tables.
