Recover the deleted Function modules

Hi,

I have a function group and some functional modules in it. Accdently i have deleted that function group and all the functional modules are also get deleted. Is there any way to recover those function group or the function modules.

Hi Abhishek,

If they are in some other system then copy them. If not then Basis can read the logs of the system and can get them back, but it is not that easy.

In other words if the program is not in other system, you need to recreate them from scratch.

i dont think if they have been permantly deleted than thy can be recover again,i would suggest you to contact with your basis people,if they can help you in this.

Hi Abhishek,

in which server you deleted those objects. i beleive in development server right? i believe they were exists in quality server if already moved from dev. to quality. just copy from quality and paste in the develepment server. if it is new then it is essential to concern basis guys.

Hi,

Function Module can be restored if it is versionsed previously in version management.

Kindly use the below steps,

(1.) Create FM on same name (In which FM is deleted previously).

(2.) Utility->Version->Version Management

(3.) Previous versions are found in "Versions in the version database".

(4.) Check for previous version and retrieve it.

U are right. it could be retrive in your way but the fact is that the previous version was not versionised. So i am not able to recover it.

Hi check like above in SE37 for one more time  by creating the same name in same system . It should possible.
