Re-run RADNTLANG

Hi,

We have started the preparation work in our DEV system for the unicode conversion. As part of that, we have executed the RADNTLANG program. But due to some system issues, the program aborted i nthe middle. IS it possible to re-run this report again. SAP note 480671 states to run it only once. How do we re-run it? Are there any options to re-start it?

Hi Venu,

looking at the other thread you opened, I assume your release is SAP ECC 6.0 ?

In this case it is important that radntlang handles customer tables only - hence SAP standard tables should be ok (see SAP note 480671 ).

Excerpt from SAP note 480671 :

CAUTION: Run the report only once, or repeat it carefully. Text language

flags you removed since last execution of the report, will be set by

repeating the report. Your changes to text language flags on customer

objects will be overwritten.

Then the next point would be whether you executed the report with option "activate inactively" (see also SAP note 678221 ) ?

In this case you have to check table ddxtt. It should be empty before executing the report again.

You have also the option to run the report in test mode and check the outcome.

In addition it might be useful to check your customer objects regarding consistency in SE11.

Please note that I highly recommend to run the repotr radntlang during very low system load (best: no load e.g. on weekend).
