Hello,
I am trying to set up a scenario for ALE to upload data from a flat file into R/3, using one of the standard IDOC types. This is in contrast to using a BAPI, because there is no BAPI for this data (SD Pricing Conditions).
Is there a quick guide to setting up such a scenario, (i.e. processing a flat file in the same system, and not distributing it elsewhere) that shows in easy steps what needs to be done?
I know about the direct input method to create condition records, but I would also need to change existing ones (for which I'm hoping to use the IDOC type COND_A02).
Also, I'm hoping to avoid using Batch Input.
If anybody can explain what needs to be done in a few steps, or can point me to such a guide, I would be most grateful (and will show my gratitude in points

Hi!
Refer to http://membres.lycos.fr/benjaminroger/pg_sap/documentation_fabricom/MM/
Here it is logistic_scenarios.ppt where you can find helpful info about setting up IDOC-scenario for conditions.
Hope it helps.

Maxim.

Thanks, Maxim and Aveek. I guess I will need to go study the whole ALE concept a bit further to be able to implement my scenario.

Hallo Martin,
I haven't found a way to send this eMail to You directly, so I try it this way (although it's not related to the topic 'Quick guide for ALE scenario').
I think I've read a message sent by You regarding saving dynamic free selections some time ago. Have You found a way to solve this problem - we have exactly the same challenge and wonder if there's a good way to solve it.
Thanks, Martin
