Question regarding "Conversion Program"

Hi,

Please suggest me the best method for the below problem.

I have client A which has MARA-MARC data and PRCTR(profit center) has daa in it.

I have GTS system which has tables /SAPSLL/PR and SAPSLL/PRGEN which has a field ATTRIB05E.

Field ATTRIB05E is profit center in GTS system.

I have to populate data of MARC-PRCTC(profit center) from System A to SAPSLL/PRGEN-ATTRIB05E of GTS system.

Please tell me whether IDOC is the best method or RFC or any other way to accomplish this.

If it is IDOC or RFC , please suggest the RFC name or the IDOC types etc .

Hi Mich,

If you can use IDOC's then it is the best way.

Check if MATMAS mesaage type suits your requirement.

Hi,

One more aspect is it is only a one time conversion. Can you suggest me the best method.

Whether RFC FM is good or using ALE is good.
