Hi ABAP Guru's,

I have a requirement to authorize a Z transaction code, so that only some users say 'SUPER' can have all permissions, where as 'GENERAL' user can access it in display mode.

Thanks in Advance

Rgrds,

Phani.

Hi Phani,

If you are trying to give access to a table maintainance, you can create a PARAMETER TRANSACTION. User will get same view as SM30 for a particular table.

If it is a report transaction, then you will have to check with BASIS admin.

Thanks and Warm Regards.

Hi Nicole,

The Z Tcode is already existing. In that it is calling a dialog program.

Hi,

U cant attach some specific users to a particular transaction, this can be done by the basis guy.

In PFCG transaction, they will create roles for a particular user at that time they will assign the transactions that are authorised for the user.

Hope this helps.

Please close this thread if ur problem got solved.

If u have any queries reply me back

Hello,

Yes I agree with what judith says. In PFCG roles are created and the transactions are assigned to it. Further these roles are attached to the users. It will be done by the basis as per your requirement.

Hi,

There will be an option, if u feel it is helpful 2 points and Very helpful 6 points, if someone asnwer solved ur problem u can give solved problem 10 points to them so that the thread will close.

If no one answer helped u, u can say solved problem urself like that. The Blue star should come after that so that others wont spend time.

Got this info from Serdar reply.

You can use the scala on the left of each post to reward points. And if you reward a 10-point then your thread is closed.

But, it seems there may be a problem at the system. If you can not do this by now (i.e. if you can not see the scala radiobuttons), you can do this later. Do not forget to close the thread to save SDNers times.

Hope i am clear.
