Hi,
who is AMIGO?
Please specify SAP release and module and the relevance for ABAP, General.
Thank You.
Kind regards,
Clemens

This is interesting i am only getting Green(S), Yellow(W) and Red(E) messages in my system. How to enable those BLACK messages?
By the way you have to explain your problem clearly to get a answer.
Also have a look at [Forum Rules|http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/x/FgQ] before posting more.

My interpretation:
-
Process a MIGO entry
Hello,
I have a question:
I run the migo transaction and got a blocked period message. Because of that error, I need to find the first day of the open period for posting.
Does any one know if there is an FM... or Bapi that could give me the first day of the next open period.
Thanks: shlomy.

1) So it is a date question.
2) Shlomy is attempting to post into a past closed period which is against generally accepted accounting practices.
3) Shlomy doesn't know about OB52, or Shlomy is looking for a hack?
Shlomy, can you confirm?
Cheers,
Julius

Hi Julius,
Its great that your Requirement Interpreter is even working with worst spelling mistakes, can you share that interpreter with us? Is it written in ABAP ?

It's written between the lines. So it's an eCATT script

Amigo is a Spanish and Portuguese word for friend also used in American English.
Why you run Amigo mate? BAPI for Amigo??

I don't mean to speak for Julius, but I know his sense of humour can be very subtle. (90% of what he says goes way over my head.) I believe what he was trying to get across was that almost every date question possible has been asked and answered many times in the forum before. You should search the forum before asking.
You should find out very quickly how to get the first day of a period.

HI Rob,
I just use'd concatenat command on the date field and check the range of the Z program.
if the date period was blocked not between the date of open periods i took the first day of the months and planted him in the new date of the MIGO..

Sounds like bingo to me, amigo
Just joking - your initial question is very vague. Actually I am still not sure what it is that you are trying to achieve.

Hmmm... amigo is the first option when spell check encounters migo.

Then where did "qeestion" and "becouse" come from?
I agree that adding some SAP-words to the spellchecker would be usefull. We could start with ABAP.

Julius
