Problem With Table maintenance generator

Hi

I have created a table called ZTIMECLOCK. Now I want to generate the dialog for it so that I can add, edit or delete data from the screen.

But after I have generated maintenance dialog (using after opening the table from SE11. Utilities->Table maintenance generator.

With two step screen.

It says request completed without errors.

Then I went to /nsm31 to add new entry to my table but it only shows my existing data (there was only one entry when i gen the dialog) but the "NEW ENTRY" option under edit or on the menu is not available.

Please help what I am doing wrong here.

In Transaction 'SM30' Table Maintainance clicl on the 'Maintain' Pushbutton this must show the new entries...

HI,

Did u provide technical settings?

If not provide technical settings data class as APPL0.

save and come back and activate the table and also the maintainance generator.

then go to SM30 where u can add table entries and maintian them.

Ok I have chged the technical settings to appl0. saved it activated the table and went to the gen screen regen agian. but still the same thing

HI,

i believe the table is locked that why the New Entries Option is not displaying...

Check in SM12 given table name and delete lock entries in that.

if nothing display... then try with log off the SAPlogon and login again...

Log shows empty after loging off and login in back again.

STill the same thing i can change the data (that one entry that i had from before ) but i can't create new entry...

Ok

Found the problem

I didn't cheked any of my field as a key and initial values. After i checked the first filed of my table and activate it and regen the dialog it worked.

i went to sm30 and clicked on the maintaince button and new entry is there..

Goto SM30 t-code. May be you are in display mode and hence you cannot see the NEW ENTRIES button:)

Well it says i am in change view on the top if i click the change<-> display it swtiches between display and change view

In SE11, on the "Delivery and Maintenance Tab", make sure that "Display/Maintenance Allowed" is selected.
