Hi,

On a page of smartform there are two different types of output areas for text and data:- the Main window and the Sub window.

Main Window : In a main window you display text and data, which can cover several pages .We can define only one window in a page as a main window.

Sub Window : In a sub window you display text and data in a predetermined output area (i.e. Header, Footer etc).

Check this thread.

Yeah there are ...

1. Main window ...... it has to be in every page ... means you have to it.

2. Secondary window -- infomation in this window is varied according to the page format you use i. e. in the first page you can use the window for displaying some contents and in the next page some other contents.

3. Copies window - in this type, on selecting this type you can copy the already existing window and it will contain the same information... usally used when you want to print the two page format.

4. Final window - is when the information you want to display in the final information... you can say that ...if you are making a smart form for the company then the company name will be final .. bz all the documants you create will be for that company only.....

Note... you can use the same smartform for printing several documents... like same smartform for Purchase order.. sales order... invoice..
