problem with bdc

hi all ,

i am new to bdc .

i worked on some standard screens . it was working well .

when i created two user-defined screens and tried to apply bdc on it , it is not working properly .

In my first screen i have a textfield ID and pushbutton then we enter that we get relevant data NAME and AGE in the next screen .

I am unable to get ID and AGE properly , getting error as ...

Field ID . Input value is higher than screen field .

But i gave proper length . NAME is getting correctly where as for AGE it is givng same problem.

NAME and AGE are of same data element . (Length 3).

i am giving ID and AGE as length 2.

i did proper recording .....

But im sorry i coudnt answer your question,

I guess its not me nobody can answer that ...

You better contact the four persons who wrote SAP.. Nobody can answer that except those 4 guys..

Ya they may have to struggle to answr this,...

But one request dont do tooo complicated programs man servers may get into trouble ...
